For the founder, this scent is deeply personal. It recalls Jamaican hot cocoa prepared from freshly grated cocoa, slowly stirred and transformed into something rich, fragrant, and restorative. That memory — of warmth rising from the cup, of sweetness balanced with depth — lives within this composition.
Hand-poured using Asali Lume’s proprietary blend of beeswax and coconut oil, Noir Nectar offers a clean, even burn with a smooth, luminous finish. The wooden wick produces a soft crackling ambiance, enhancing the ritual with gentle warmth and sound.

Noir Nectar
To ensure an optimal burn, allow your candle to melt evenly across the surface during the first use — approximately 3–4 hours — to prevent tunneling and promote longevity. Before each burn, trim the wooden wick to about 1/8–1/4 inch using a wick trimmer; this is especially important for wooden wicks to maintain a clean, steady flame. If the flame rises above one inch, extinguish, trim, and relight once cooled. Always burn within sight and keep away from children, pets, and anything flammable.
