Are your products safe to use around children and pets?
Our formulations are created with intention and without harsh toxins. However, all candles should be burned within sight and kept out of reach of children and pets for safety.
Why use beeswax and coconut oil?
Beeswax is considered a premium wax known for its clean burn and natural origin. When blended with coconut oil, it creates a smooth, even-burning candle with excellent scent performance and a refined finish.
Why does my wooden wick crackle?
The wooden wick is designed to produce a subtle crackling sound, reminiscent of a fireplace. This enhances the sensory experience and adds warmth to your space.
How do I prevent tunneling?
Allow your candle to burn for approximately 3–4 hours during the first use, or until the melt pool reaches the edges of the vessel. This helps establish an even burn for future use. How often should I trim the wick? Trim the wooden wick to about 1/8–1/4 inch before each burn. If the flame exceeds one inch, extinguish the candle, trim the wick once cooled, and relight.
Why is my flame too high?
A flame that rises above one inch typically indicates the wick needs trimming. Wooden wicks require consistent maintenance to ensure a steady, controlled burn.
How long do your candles burn?
Burn time varies depending on usage and care, but our 8 oz candles typically burn approximately 40–50 hours when properly maintained.
Do you offer returns?
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we may assist you.
Are your scents proprietary?
Yes. Each fragrance is thoughtfully blended to create unique scent compositions inspired by heritage, travel, and ritual. Our blends are exclusive to Asali Lume.
Do you test on animals?
Asali Lume does not test products on animals.
